How We Serve the Community
The Office of Emergency Management (OEM), a division of Travis County Emergency Services, serves as the coordinating point for community disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery for Travis County.
Travis County OEM works with county departments and partner agencies to staff a joint City of Austin-Travis County Emergency Operations Center to enhance the collaboration and cooperation critical to successful community disaster response and recovery.
